Hello. My name is Bert Smith. My wife is Mamie Smith,
and my daughter is Elaine Smith. We have been at House of Prayer since 1990. I am the administrative assistant to Pastor Daniel
Woodruff. A pastor cannot be at two or three places at the same time. Sometimes he has to send someone to stand in his place.
He also has several ministers he can also send for this purpose. There are responsibilities that must be taken care of that
he has no time to accomplish. As his administrative assistant, I take up the slack. At the present time, some of my duties
consist of serving on the Board of Trustees, publishing the weekly Sunday bulletin, administrating and keeping this church
website current and up to date, keeping church directory and attendance records up to date so that Bro Woodruff will
have any pertinent information close at hand. I also teach the Adult Word Aflame Bible Class on Sunday mornings. These
are more that just responsibilities; they are a ministry to me and my wife who helps me a great deal. My desire is the
same as the pastor's; it is to see people find an altar of repentance at House of Prayer, be baptized in the Name of Jesus
Christ, and be filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost; and then embark on a new life in Him that is the result of that
faith and obedience. We want to see people added to the church daily such as should be saved. There are other department heads,
teachers, and ministry leaders that have their own responsibilities that are under the pastorate of Bro Woodruff. This means
that House of Prayer Pentecostal Church, Inc. is a growing, progressive, outreaching church in our community where everyone
is welcome to feel at home and worship freely.
1 Corinthians 12:27-28 Now you are the body of Christ, and members
individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles,
then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues.
Collectively together, we make up the church,
