As a part of our outreach ministry at House of Prayer, we have several Bible Studies
available without obligation or charge. These Bible studies can be conducted at the church or at your home at an agreed upon
time frame. We have Search For Truth, Exploring God’s Word,
Into His Marvelous Light, Rightly Dividing The Word, The Life And Times Of Jesus Christ, The Pentecostal
Experience, A Place Prepared For You, The New Birth Experience, and God’s Word Made Plain. These are a lot
to choose from, but one of them will probably meet your needs exactly. If you own a computer, we also have an interactive
cd-rom study entitled Ready To Be Set Free.
Search For Truth and Exploring
God’s Word are both full 10-week studies going through the entire Bible. Usually the meetings are one hour
a week for the 10 weeks. It is better if the meeting time remains constant. What you will receive is a general overview of
the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. There will be a large or small flip chart to help understand the lessons. If you make
the committment, one of these large Bible studies can enhance your knowledge of the Word of God.
In His Marvelous Light, The Pentecostal Experience,
A Place Prepared For You, The New Birth Experience, and God’s
Word Made Plain are single session Bible studies that usually take a half-hour to an hour or so according to the
amount of discussion and questions involved. These cover various topics and usually contain an explanation of the requirements
for and results of salvation through Jesus Christ.
There are 2 other tract-like studies entitled The Apostles’ Doctrine
and The Articles Of Faith. They contain points of doctrine, works of the church, and basically
what is believed and taught at the House Of Prayer Pentecostal Church.
Rightly Dividing The Word is a multi-session
study that can usually be completed in 2 sessions and are meant to run consecutively. The Life And
Times Of Jesus Christ usually requires around 4 or 5 sessions. The amount of questions and discussion might require
more sessions for either of these studies.
