Mary Jane, I love you.

Hello my dear sister. Greetings in the Name of Jesus, the Name above all names. Acts 4:12 tells us, "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Jesus is the one we can always trust in. I pray all is well there. God has, and is continuing to bless me. Friday I was called into a meeting to talk about all that 's been going on. I tell you my sister, they called the meeting to try to tear me down, but our God lifted me up, and the meeting didn't go as they planned. Acts 4:13 "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled, and they took knowledge of them that they had been with Jesus." As I walked into their meeting, there was no fear in me, only a boldness. My trust was in God Almighty as I faced the men who were causing all this trouble as they began to say that I told them that Jesus Name baptism is the only true way to be baptized. I said yes I did. The Word of God is written as it is written and has not changed and will not change. I asked the guy to show me one person in the Bible that was baptized in the titles of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost, and further more I didn't go to this guy. He came to me asking. All I did was show scriptures. I told them I thought we were in Bible college and are we not supposed to study God's Word, and if I'm wrong, please show me as I want to know. Another guy brought up about speaking in tongues. Again I asked, "did I come to you, or did you come to me." He had to say that he came asking. Again back to the scriptures, it is written and has not changed. The level 3 guy said that he knows that I am not far on my lessons, but he sees more fruit in me than he does the ones who have doctoral degrees. They cannot deny that I have been with Jesus. I don't remember all I did say in this meeting, but I know the Holy Ghost was speaking through me, and I know they were sure pushing for it to hurry up and be over. They saw a boldness and a challenge to dig into God's Word. I pray they will accept and get right, for time is running out. One day soon it will be too late, and they will sure wish they would have listened. Man's doctrine is of his father the devil. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." It still says the same thing. It hasn't changed. I don't have a doctor's degree of this world, but I do have Jesus in my life, and He is everything to me. A day is coming soon, and all who fail to obey the gospel will surely wish they would have, but it will be too late. Proverbs 1:26 "I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh." A day is coming when they will seek, but they won't find Him. It's time people wake up and tell the devil his party is over. My dear sister, thank you so much for everything, especially all your prayer. I love you. May God bless you all.

Love, James Edwin Hogancamp

Happy Thanksgiving

Dear Mary Jane

Praise the Lord my dear sister. Another day our Lord Jesus has blessed us with. I just came back in from yard call. It felt good to be outside. Thank God it's not hot. I pray all is well there. I sure missed you Saturday. I was blessed by seeing Mom, Christina, and Daniel. Thank God for every visit. I'm sending you my notes from a chapel call last Friday. Chapel calls are 45 minutes. They are on Tuesdays and Fridays. The good Lord willing, I will be doing devotion in the morning, and I'm going to speak on Ephesians 3:20. "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us." The title is "Nothing Is Too Hard For My God." There's not a disease or sickness that He can't heal and not a lost soul that He can't save. No matter what the situation you are in, God is well able to bring you through it. I'm going to bring out three points on this scripture.

(1) Him - These scriptures should give these guys a good view of who Him is.
Isaiah 9:6: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Matthew 1:21: And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
1 John 5:7: For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
Revelation 1:8: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation 1:18: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

(2) Able to do - Philippians 4:13 tells us I can do all things through Christ which strengthens us. Jude 1:24 tells He is able to keep us from falling back into the pit He brought us out of and able to present us faultless without spot or blemish, and that is who Jesus will return for. 1 John 4:17 says He is able to give us boldness in the day of judgment and that we can look forward to hearing God say "enter in thou good and faithful servant." 1 Peter 1:8 tells us He is able to give us joy unspeakable and full of glory. Verse 16 tells us we're able to be holy. Philippians 4:7 tells us He is able to give us a peace of God which passeth all understanding. 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us we are able to be new creatures and that all things become new. 1 Corinthians 6:11 tells us He is able to wash us, cleanse us, sanctify us, and justify us. Romans 6:1-6 tells us we are able to walk in a newness of life.

(3) Power - In Luke 24:49 Jesus told the disciples to "go to Jerusalem until ye be endued with power from on high." Jesus said in John 14, "I will not leave you comfortless." "I will send a comforter which is the Holy Ghost." In Acts 1:8 we see that power makes us a witness. In order to be a witness, we must walk right and talk right. We can take a look at Peter how he went from denying Christ to being willing to die for Him after receiving the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13 says "Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost." Romans 8:15 tells us we have not received the spirit of fear, but have received the spirit of adoption. That power makes you a child of God. The one who spoke the world into place is well able to help us overcome the things of this world. 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us of the spirit of power and of love and of a sound mind, overcoming the things of this world and having great love for everyone and thinking right. 1 John 4:4 talks about that power saying "greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world." 1 John 5:4 talks about that wonder working power overcoming the things of this world. Revelation 21:7 says through that power, we can receive eternal life in Heaven by allowing the power to work in our lives now. Then in John 3:5, Jesus says without that Holy Ghost power, you won't make it; without it you can't walk right and talk right and won't get into Heaven, for "ye must be born again." In closing, 2 Timothy says there are a lot of people walking around claiming to be Christians, but their walk is sure not showing it. They are denying the power thereof. In Matthew 25 there were 5 wise and 5 foolish. The foolish let their oil run out, and they weren't ready when the bridegroom came. That oil is that power, that Holy Ghost power. Matthew 12:31, 33 says people had better be careful telling other people the Holy Ghost is not for us today. Jesus said "whoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven them." Hebrews 13:8 says "Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever." The plan hasn't changed. The healing hasn't stopped. God is still pouring out His Spirit. John 8:32: "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." A watered down message won't do it. It's got to be the whole truth, just like it is in God's Word. There's no other way. My last verse is Isaiah 55:11: "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." I will encourage the men here to check out what kind of power is working in their lives, because nothing is too hard for my God. Hallelujah! So the good Lord willing, that is what I will share with them in the morning. I want to tell you all that I love you and pray that you all have a very blessed Thanksgiving and to thank you for everything. We're supposed to be off Thursday and Friday, and that will be good. Well, I'm going to close. I love you so very much and thank God for such a wonderful sister. Have a blessed day every day in Jesus' Name.

Love, James Edwin Hogancamp

Psalm 66:20 - another reason to be thankful
"Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me."
God bless you all. Thank you Jesus!
